A Somali mother of ten, Salima Nuh, who was reported to have survived two refugee camps in Somali before relocating to the US in 2004 was killed in Topsham, Maine – USA, when a fire fighter truck crossed over the median and collided head-on with Salima - killing her instantly. Authorities said that no drugs, alcohol or cell phone use contributed to the crash, but are investigating whether a medical condition could have played a factor. Complicating the tragedy, Salima Nuh was seven months pregnant at the time of her death. Her husband is said to be devastated while the other driver survived with minor bruises.
