It Is Official - Sasheer Zamata is the new ‘Black Lady’ on Saturday Night Live.

Finally, after several backlashes over its lack of diversity, NBC sketch comedy program – Saturday Night Live (SNL) has responded  and has hired Sasheer Zamata. She will debut on the January 18 episode of the program, to be hosted by Drake.

She trained at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in New York and graduated from the University of Virginia, she will become SNL's first African-American female since Maya Rudolph left five years ago. You can bet that she will play Michelle Obama. And possibly Oprah Winfrey – given Keenan Thompson some deserved rest. We shall see.

    It is about damn time,I stopped watching when Kennan started playing all black women role.may be back watching just to see her.
