| Beer Destruction - Sharia Style. |
If you are planning a trip to Kano – in the northern part of
Nigeria for a bottle of beer to two, you may want to put that plan on a hold, news coming
from the sleepy northern city indicated that beer drinkers are not really
welcome. Report said that Sharia police used
an earth haulage truck to destroy over 240,000 bottles of beer that were seized
from supply vehicles and shop owners. I guess Kano is not a place for the likes of Budweiser, Guinness and Heineken of this world.
