Another Evidence That Racism Is Alive And Well In America....

Call it isolated incidence or whatever you want, it happens everyday and unless it is reported, many will think that, we have a 'black' president, therefore everything is 'alright'- well think again.

A Georgia couple had a rude awakening on new year's day that racism still exists. Sam Aarons, a U.S. Army sergeant major, and his wife Candea Aarons found the words “jungle fever” written on their valet ticket after what was supposed to be a celebratory New Year’s Day meal.  "I was upset, but more disappointed. More disappointed that this is 2014 and we still have individuals out there who still have these beliefs," Sam Aarons, of Columbus, told WTVM. 

 

"This valet wrote an unacceptable description on this customer's ticket, but it was not him trying to send a racist message to the customers," wrote Gagne. "He just has poor taste and this cost him his job." Aaron said by bringing media attention to the incident she wanted to send a message that racism would not be tolerated in any form. 

"You can't just do things or say things people and think there are no repercussions behind it," said Aaron. Well folks, there you have it and if you don't know what 'jungle fever' means..Google it.
