This is turning out to be a great year for this actress although, you can argue that this year have just started, and may be too early to predict. For a starter, apart from landing her largest movie role to date, staring alongside Kevin Hart (another story for another day), and Ice Cube in “Ride Along” as Kevin girlfriend, she is also reclaiming her role as the ambitious, Candace Young in Tyler Perry's written and directed ‘The Haves and the Have Nots,’ which premieres it’s second season Tuesday night on Oprah Winfrey Network OWN.

I was listening to her on Tom Joyner Morning Show and how bless she is and grateful she is for the opportunities. I heard she also play a gentler, kinder role in Another of Tyler Perry's movies - 'A Madea Christmas". Well, it is then safe to say that Tika Sumpter is set to have her best year ever.
