A Zambian woman, Leya Mtonga has been sentenced to two years in prison for deliberately becoming pregnant in order to stay in the UK permanently! a judge was told. Leya made a ‘conscious decision’ to conceive after she was arrested by Home Office immigration officials, the court in Nottingham, England was told.
39 year old Leya and her Portuguese husband Nuro Moriera, 29 however claimed that their wedding was genuine, but a jury concluded that, the wedding was part of a conspiracy to defeat the UK immigration control and convicted the couple after a trial.

People would do anything to remainin the UK, I can't blame them cos our African leaders are greedy and self centered. May God help us.
I am not sure if I should blame her but they are still married even though under questionable circumstances...I wish her well
