Criminal Arrested After Posting ‘Selfie’ From Stolen Phone.

He stole a smartphone and decided to take a 'selfie' and now, he is posing for mug shot at the police station. Jess Ewald is only 19 but made the mistake of stealing a phone, took a picture f himself and posted it on Facebook and Twitter pages last week, officials said. He was later arrested for grand theft.

He allegedly stole the phone from a worker at Benny’s on the Beach in Lake Worth, just south of West Palm Beach, between 10 p.m. and midnight. “The suspect apparently took a great quality ‘Selfie’ using the victim’s stolen phone,” the sheriff’s office wrote on their post. “Not only is this the male who stole her phone, but she remembers him with a group of his friends at Benny’s.” He later surrendered to police after the selfie garnered an overwhelming response on social media.
