Trayvon Martin’s Killer, George Zimmerman To “Fight” DMX.

Although he is not a celebrity by any mean or standard, George Zimmerman but Trayvon Martin's killer has apparently signed on to fight rapper DMX in a "celebrity boxing match," according to TMZ.  No judgement here but imagine a killer of an innocent young boy, with no other gifts or talent or contributions to society celebrity is considering himself a celebrity.

Boxing promoter Damon Feldman confirmed to the gossip site that rapper - DMX 43, was picked out of "over 15,000" applicants to go against Zimmerman, 30. "I am going to beat the living f--k out him," DMX said, according to TMZ. "I am breaking every rule in boxing to make sure I f--k him right up." 

It is reported that no agreement has been signed or agreed to yet. " Zimmerman reportedly came up with the idea for a boxing match himself and has been "training for months." He previously told RadarOnline that boxing has been his hobby — even before the "incident," as he called it.

He, of course, was referring to shooting and killing Trayvon Martin on Feb. 26, 2012. A Florida jury acquitted him of second-degree murder and manslaughter charges. "Prior to the incident I was actually going to the gym for weight loss and doing boxing-type training for weight loss and a mutual friend put me in contact with Damon," Zimmerman told the gossip site, about the boxing match.

Many are calling the proposed match unnecessary and it has generated a lot of negative reactions especially among supporters of Trayvon Martin and his family and may are calling for such event to be cancelled. "We must be very careful not to glorify or in any way sidestep the implications of making someone whose only claim to fame was killing an unarmed young man named Trayvon Martin into a cultural celebrity or hero," a statement released to media houses read.
