Contrary to all lies and denial from official quarters in Nigeria, Benin government confirmed that, it was forced to free Asari Dokubo, former militant leader from Nigeria's oil-rich Delta region. He was reportedly freed and flown on a Nigerian government aircraft on Friday after the Nigerian President, Goodluck Jonathan personally intervened. Like President Jonathan, Asari is also from the Ijaw ethnic group, and has repeatedly threaten war if Jonathan is not returned as president of Nigeria in 2015.
