For his role in "12 Years a Slave" Chiwetel Ejiofor has been nominated for Best Actor in a Motion - Drama category in the 2014 Golden Globe while the movies itself was nominated for "Best Motion Picture" - Drama.

This is a great movie but let me warn you, it is very graphic in terms of violent content and you will cry - I guarantee you. . The 71st Annual Golden Globes telecast will be presented on Jan. 12, again hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.
