It was supposed to be a quiet trip to down-under, Snoop Lion however set up smoke alarm in his hotel room (What he was doing? Your guess is good as mine). Firefighters swarmed the iconic rapper's room in a five-star Melbourne, Australia - the Melbourne Herald Sun reported. "We were (at the hotel) for a different reason," a spokeswoman for the city's fire department said. "That was where our firefighters met Snoop."

If reports coming from Europe is true, Mario Balotelli is interested in playing under his former manager, Jose Marinho at Chelsea. He was quoted - "Of course I would like to play under Jose again," Balotelli said. Prison Term For Dragging Bloodied Puppy.

I don't have any dog but I do not condone any inhumane treatment of animal either and this is why I was kinda of glad that this guy got what he deserve.

His name is Dossey James, 28 years old from Los Angeles, he was captured on video dragging a bloodied puppy down a street was sentenced to 16 months in state prison after pleading no contest to animal cruelty charges. He was also barred from owning or having contact with any animals for 10 years after he admitted to dragging the 4-month-old pit bull puppy, according to the Los Angeles district attorney’s office.

This is one of the fears of many people as far as the recent law making homosexuality a crime in Nigeria - the fear that, people will get killed just for the suspicion of "been gay". Take the story coming out of Kano, in norther Nigeria for example.

An angry mob attacked seven men suspected of breaking law banning homosexuality after a court hearing an official said that "As soon as the suspects emerged from the courtroom to get into the waiting prison van, a crowd of people in their hundreds began hurling stones and insults."

He helped to change the dynamics of how black families are portrayed on American Television forever with his iconic show “The Cosby Show.” Now, NBC has confirmed that Bill Cosby is developing a new sitcom he would star in.

It will be a return to TV of the 76-year-old entertainer who is also rumored will create a script for the comedy that casts Cosby as the patriarch of a multigenerational family. After "The Cosby Show" ended, he had “Cosby,” another sitcom on CBS for four seasons.

Recently, he aired “Bill Cosby: Far From Finished,” a stand-up comedy special on Comedy Central in November. Here is hoping that, this new show will bring back the good old days of watching a family show that portrays positive image of a black family.

New President for Central African Republic.

I brought you a news story here few weeks ago about an “African President” that was stepping down, if you missed it click (here). Now, that country (Central Africa republic) made history again, electing Catherine Samba-Panza as the new Interim President.

She was elected at the national assembly in Bangui January 20, 2014. She was formerly the mayor of Bangui. Her tasks include ending months of sectarian violence, as well as guiding the country to another elections. what a man can do, I sure hope this woman will do a better job.

I saw this in NYPost and my first thought was, - here we go again, but then I read on and figured that I need to share this. Her name is Abimbola Fernandez, 24 years old and her father is supposedly worth over $8 billion, that's not even the story.

The story is that, Rihana is one of her role model and that her father - Antonio Dehinde Fernandez is a gemstone 'tycoon'.  Ok, I have never met her or her father, but, if your father is worth that much money, as she claimed in her interview, I think she need to look for better role model - no offence to Rihana. Rapper, Jim Jones Sued By ‘Vampire Life’ Film Investors.

Rapper turned reality star Jim Jones is being sued for hundreds of thousands of dollars by a group of investors who claim Jim took money under the guise of making a movie, but spent the cash on himself.  

The investors are said to be angry after finding out that Jones used part of their investment money to start his Vampire Life clothing line which was pitched to the the investors as merchandising for the proposed film. They are suing for $700,000 minimum as original investment as well as interest. Jim Jones is yet to respond to the lawsuit.

Violent Gang Leader Can't Be Deported From Britain.

Joland Giwa had been kept locked up for more than four years after finishing a jail sentence for a string of street robberies in Britain but because officials cannot work out where to send him, he is to stay in Britain indefinitely. 

Both Sierra Leone as well as Nigerian government has refused to accept him, and immigration officials are unable to determine his true nationality neither are they sure he gave the correct name and age when he sought asylum in Britain. 
However, a judge ruled it was unfair to keep Giwa locked up if there was no prospect of him being deported – even though he presents a ‘serious risk of violence’ and there is ‘a very significant risk both of absconding and re-offending’.

Kanye In Paris - Away from Felony Drama in LA.

As Kanye West‘s felony assault investigation continues, reports are indicating that the rapper left all the drama behind him, and flew off to Paris. He was spotted arriving at Charles De-Gaulle airport in Paris on Thursday, without Kim Kardashian or their daughter, North in sight.

In Los Angeles, police continue their investigation into the alleged assault that occurred on Monday. Kanye allegedly attacked an 18-year-old white boy at the office of a Beverly Hills chiropractor after the boy reportedly called Kim Kardashian N--- Lover, and other racist slurs.

Reports coming out of South Sudan say the United nations (U.N) has gathered evidence of gruesome attacks being carried out in that country's month-old conflict. Some of the victims were reportedly beheaded or forced to participate in sex acts with family members.

Arrested Begins After Anti-Gay Law Passed In Nigeria

If you are gay, and planning to visit Nigeria, you may want to put that planned on hold or just completely forget about it. Authorities in many norther parts of the country began arresting gay men after legislation was quietly approved, and signed into law by Nigerian President, Goodluck Jonathan, criminalizing homosexuality and imposing prison terms up to 14 years for breaking the new law. 

Several gay couples were taken into custody in the majority-Muslim northern part of Nigeria. Nigeria’s president, signed the Same Sex Marriage Prohibition Act into law on January 7, but there was no public report of the new law until Monday.

German Supermarkets Discover Cocaine in Banana Boxes.

Be careful when next you visit a German supermarket as boxes filled with bananas, and cocaine were delivered to five Berlin supermarkets in what police called a "logistical error" by drug smugglers. 

According to Reuters, supermarket staff discovered the containers with a total of 140 kg of cocaine on Monday shortly before the fruit went on sale to the public, police and customs investigators said. It was the largest discovery of cocaine in Germany's capital in about 15 years and has an estimated street value of 6 million euros, according to police.

She spoke to People magazine in an interview hitting newsstands Friday -  her birthday. “Right now, I don’t imagine that I would go that route, but I’ve also learned to never say never.”

It will be her first,  and she is sure showing the bump now. Singer - Ciara is carrying her fiancé’s (Future) fourth child. She showed the bump on abc "The view" yesterday but this is the first real picture of her baby bump. She is reportedly due in May.

She is Jessica Simpsons 'baby' sister and a 'singer' as well, she was previously married to Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz, with whom she has a 5-year-old son. She announced her engagement to boyfriend, Evan Ross on Twitter.

Cameroonian Jailed For Being Gay Dies From Hernia.

Roger Jean-Claude Mbede is a Cameroonian, jailed for expressing love to another man via text message. Cameroon, just like Nigeria has strictest anti-gay laws, 28 people have been charged under statute against homosexual acts.

Roger Jean-Claude Mbede, was declared a prisoner of conscience by Amnesty International, but died on Friday after his family removed him from the hospital where he had been seeking treatment for a hernia, lawyer Alice Nkom said. 'His family said he was a curse for them and that we should let him die,' she said.

I know she claimed that she does not really care what people think of her look, but seriously, she need to lose weight, and in my opinion, she need to lose the weight fast..,just my humble opinion.

Drinking Cow Urine Cure Cancer - Indian Hindu Worshipers Said.

A number of Hindu worshipers in India are claiming that drinking fresh cow urine will help cure all diseases - especially cancer. Cow is regarded as holy animal and consider the urine to contain divine healing properties. One particular individual, Jairam Singhal, 42, said  'I had diabetes, but ever since I have started drinking cow urine, my diabetes levels have been under control,' Jairam said.

'Lots of people come here. And of late, the numbers have been rising. We all gather in the morning and drink fresh urine that Mother cow offers us,' Singhal said. 'Just a few years ago, there would hardly be anyone interested in taking cow urine from our shelter. 'But today lots of people come to our cow shelter. There are cancer patients sometimes - they want to see the benefits of cow urine.'
